Connect BSNL broadband in Ubuntu for permanently.

1) Add wired network from TOP LEFT

System -> Preferences -> Network Connections

Select ADD option and give BSNL as connection name

2) Start Terminal

Press ALT + F2 and type gnome-terminal

3) Type sudo pppoeconf

you will get CLI based GUI steps, follow steps,

select default option

provide your broadband username and password.

4) To start connection : sudo pon

5) To check log : plog

6) To stop connection : sudo poff
